Healing the Invisible Wounds of Breast Cancer
Cancer isn’t just a medical diagnosis—it’s a deeply emotional experience. At Faith Through Fire, we recognize the hidden toll trauma can take when it’s left unaddressed.
Our trauma-informed approach helps women close the “trauma loop” so they can move forward rather than feel stuck. We are redefining what mental health looks and feels like by offering low-maintenance, unobtrusive emotional support that feels personal, not clinical—integrating seamlessly into daily life and allowing survivors to thrive on their own terms.

Three emotional phases to the breast cancer journey
Acute Trauma Phase:
Patients are newly diagnosed, in active treatment, and the focus must be on self-care, providing psychological safety, and validation. Support must be low-maintenance and unobtrusive.
Processing Phase:
Active or primary treatment is drawing to a close. The patient begins to experience a wide array of emotions- excitement, fear, confusion. They are now in a mental state that allows them to take in new information to help make sense of what they’ve experienced. The focus is on continuing to journey with them by educating the individual about medical trauma and the path toward post-traumatic growth.
Resolution:
The patient had somewhat processed the trauma and need frameworks that teach, guide and empower them to overcome challenges and reclaim purpose. The focus is on creating meaning or purpose from their experience through education and the opportunity for mentoring, providing a sense of community, and helping them move
forward.
